Q: Why is the MAC address of my machine not displayed when I manage the machine or refresh my system's information?

A: The MAC address retrieval performed by our tools takes place by one of three methods in the following order:
  1. MIB table - local cache table
  2. Net API query - NetBIOS
  3. WMI

If any of these fail, we will not be able to obtain the MAC address.
