What versions of SQL or Oracle do your products require

Enterprise Random Password Manager (ERPM) and Random Password Manager (RPM) can use MS SQL or Oracle databases. All other Lieberman Software products that can use a database are limited to Microsoft databases only:

• Oracle 11g - preferred
• SQL 2008 - preferred
• SQL 2005 - preferred
• SQL 2000 SP4
• SQL Express (free) - use for testing or very small environments only

If using Microsoft databases, Lieberman Software recommends using a full version of SQL as opposed to SQL Express. If using a full version of SQL is not an option, then Lieberman Software recommends using SQL Express. SQL Express, and the SQL Management Studio Express can be downloaded for free from Microsoft's download website: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads.

Our tools and solutions can use an existing installation of SQL or Oracle; they do not require their own instance. Both 32 or 64bit versions of these databases are fully supported.
