Default Random password manager web interface and https

I've been tasked with moving the web interface for the random password manager over to https. Does anyone have a link to some documentation that would be helpful to me? No one else wanted this assignment and it was dropped in my lap since I'm the new guy.

We already use it over http but now they want it strictly over https

The how depends on the operating system. Ultimately, the use of SSL is handled through IIS on the web server.

The basic process is get a server certificate (purchase one, use your own CA, create a self signed cert), import it into IIS (done at the website or server level not the virtual directory), then on the website or virtual directory you connect to, click the check box that says require SSL.
