    Default Password Copy Error with FireFox

    An Error Occurs When Using the Password Copy Button When Using FireFox

    Problem:

    When using FireFox to recover passwords from the password recovery web console of Enterprise Random Password Manager or Random Password Manager version 4.81 or later, using the COPY button produces an error stating the current browser settings prohibit copy/paste from this page.





    Cause:

    The security setting in FireFox are prohibiting the copy functionality from working.

    Resolution:

    In the address bar of FireFox, type about:config. Scroll down to "signed.applets.codebase_principal_support" and set its value to "TRUE".
